Body Sense : Collage

  • Flatwater Collective 1219 Leavenworth Street Omaha, NE, 68102 United States (map)

Body Sense is rooted in an experiential meditation practice where we intentionally engage the energy of the body in order to feel more aligned to our truest self. The deeper, wider, wisest self.

In this session you will be guided in gentle meditation practices and wild writing prompts, making a connection with your own energy and body. With the insights fresh and directly from your own heart, you will have the opportunity to translate them into a tangible artifact for take home. A collage to express your experience and also to serve as a reminder in your daily life to continue to deepen your relationship to your body and yourself.

Collage materials include various recycled items like cardboard, cigar box lids, old newspapers + magazines, strings, yarn, ribbons. And other items like handmade papers, glue, and markers, and inks, other bits and bobs, and plenty of time to explore.

No art experience needed—only an open heart and a willingness to listen within.

What to Expect:

  • Guided meditation + journaling prompts to connect with your intention

  • All art supplies provided—a mix of media, including handmade papers, markers, and colored pencils and other reclaimed and found objects and tools. Each piece will be created on reclaimed cardboard for a truly unique foundation.

  • Instruction and gentle support throughout the creative process

  • Herbal tea, light snacks, and a nurturing space to create

  • Your own unique Body Sense Collage to take home and display

Date: Saturday, February 7, 1-4:00PM

Why This Workshop?

So often, we know what we need—more peace, more courage, more trust—but we forget to invite it in. This workshop is your conscious invitation. By crafting your insights into something beautiful and visible, you weave it into the fabric of your daily life, transforming intention into practice.

About Your Instructor: Erin Huerter

I am an artist, guide, and compassionate space-holder dedicated to helping others uncover the language of their own souls and embody their most authentic selves.

Weaving wisdoms from many cultural, indigenous, and healing arts; mindfulness; and a lifelong artistic practice into a unique tapestry of holistic well-being. I believe in the power of place, the intelligence of the body, and the quiet, potent energy that emerges when we slow down, soften, and make space to listen to our deepest knowing.

I teach from a grounded center of lived experience; my offerings are born from the practices that have guided me through my own transformations. My commitment to this practice and my genuine desire to share its profound benefits in a way that is accessible, empowering, and deeply supportive is what guides me.
